People were offered testing for sexually transmitted infections (STI) at the clinic. The tests are done through a blood and urine sample and covered the following STIs:
- Chlamydia Trachomatis (Urine)
- HIV I/II Antibodies Non-Reactive
- HIV p24 Antigen Non-Reactive
- HIV Duo Test (HIV I/II Antibodies, p24 antigen) Non-Reactive
- Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Non-Reactive
- Hepatitis C Antibodies Non-Reactive
- Syphilis Antibodies Non-Reactive
- Neisseria Gonorrhoea (Urine)
The results were reviewed by Dr. Dominic Rowley, Consultant in Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise and Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar.

The HSE offers a free home STI (sexually transmitted infection) testing service to anyone aged 17 or older who lives in the Republic of Ireland.
